Our Call Contents Automatic Differentiator (CCAD) enabled pen registers increase the reach of pen registers and ensure law enforcement knows the final destination of every call, every time. Modern conspiracies frequently depend on telecommunications, so being able to map the contacts between members is critical to law enforcement. CCAD closes a legal loophole that suspects have previously used to evade pen register-based electronic surveillance.
CCAD enabled pen registers consist of two primary components: a traditional pen register and a Call Contents Automatic Differentiator (CCAD) module. The traditional pen register operates just as one would expect — capturing routing data encapsulated by the subject of surveillance's telecommunications provider.
In contrast, the CCAD module is a novel, patent-pending technology for extracting phone numbers that occur later in a call. CCAD can pull out dialed telephone numbers — and differentiate telephone numbers from other dialing — no matter when in the call they are dialed. It is able to extract groups of PCTDD and decide if those groups are DRAS or content.
Electronic surveillance is extremely important to law enforcement, especially in prosecuting conspiracies, such as drug cartel cases. CCAD creates a new source of information, giving law enforcement more information about the communications networks of suspects and closing a legal loophole that suspects have been able to abuse.
CCAD-enabled pen registers are only available for sale to recognized law enforcement agencies in the United States and territories. We are currently looking for law enforcement parters to assist in field-testing CCAD-enabled Pen Registers. If interested, please contact us.
